Two Power Supplies are better than one !!!
The Kludgemaster 800 is first to incorporate the first application
Of desktop design Bi-Power energy management system. Outboard twin power supplies not only remove extra heat from the case interior but provide ONE Dedicated Power supply to the hard drives and ONE dedicated power supply for the mobo. This guarantees ample power to the mobo for overclocking
applications and gives the hard disks and optical drives a constant separate power supply. The kludgemaster case design and open cooling system eliminates any need to access the back of the computer. All power, mouse, keyboard, audio, usb, lan, serial, parrall, ports are located in the front of the machine.
Even though some rack systems incorporate hot swappable and redundant power supplies, I thought this design would be cool and utilize some old power supplies I had instead of buying a new high capacity supply. One power supply is rewired so that it's toggle switch controlled from the front panel. The other supply is soft controlled by the pushbutton on the front panel. Someday i will fashion a case cover for the supplies and computer but for this prototype "looks" was last on the list. Finally i wanted all connections to be on one side of the case....
